Hanna Lemoine
Painting

Youngsville, LA

Hanna Lemoine is an oil painter from Bayou Lafourche. Hanna obtained a BFA from LSU in 2016 where she received formal training. Hanna then moved to New Orleans where she exhibited at local markets and galleries for 4 years until the pandemic. Since then, she has moved her presence online and in juried fine art markets across the US, selling art to private collectors around the world.

Hanna’s main body of work is landscape oil paintings depicting the vibrant and dynamic gulf coast. Scenes from her disappearing hometown in Southern Louisiana with an ever changing climate. Hanna’s oil paintings are inspired by Cajun folklore passed down generations of her family and her own experiences in the environment. As man made coastal erosion and climate change decimate her community she hopes her work can inspire respect and awe for our fragile environment.
